Canada announces $235M in funding, will purchase US military equipment for Ukraine
Canada is pledging another $235 million in funding for Ukraine, Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand announced Wednesday.
Anand said Canada will work with NATO allies to purchase a package of critical military capabilities sourced from the U.S. at around US$500 million.
Another $35 million dollars will help fund NATO’s comprehensive assistance package for Ukraine, she said.
