Carney met with protests, walkouts at First Nations summit
Prime Minister Mark Carney met First Nations leaders Thursday to discuss new legislation that allows fast-tracking major resource and infrastructure projects. Frustrations over land rights and consultation ran deep and some leaders said the meeting did little to ease concerns.
