Carney pushes Team Canada hub for trade
Prime Minister Mark Carney met with Canada’s premiers in Ottawa today with a focus to ‘come together and build.’ The meeting revolved around discussions to remove interprovincial trade barriers as well as Alberta and Quebec separatism tensions. Carney said he expected the White House to ‘respect Canadian sovereignty’ — comments also made by Alberta Premier Danielle Smith following Washington’s support of Alberta separatists.
