Carney wraps up UAE visit with $70B investment pledge into Canada
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) said Friday it would invest up to $70 billion in Canada’s economy, just as Prime Minister Mark Carney wraps up his two-day visit to the Gulf state.
Carney and UAE leaders signed a framework investment agreement which will see Emiratis put billions into Canada’s critical minerals project, ports, energy and AI.
